The UV system (VT4/SC4-DWS) is equipped to inactivate chlorine-resistant parasites such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia, harmful bacteria like E.Coli, and viruses not visible to the naked eye. The two filter housings include: 1) 5-micron sediment filter and 2) carbon filter to reduce chlorine, lead, and improve water taste.
System is capable of 100-240V, 50-60Hz. Though the VIQUA VT4-DWS/SC4-DWS comes in various voltages, be aware of which versions meet your requirements since the electrical connections are integrated into the controller making specific models suitable for specific voltages.
